How to order

To place an order you can either Order Online or download and complete an Order Form and post it to us:

To help us create your stationery please ensure your order includes the following details;

  • All the items that you require (please note day and evening invitations count as separate items)
  • Quantity of each item required (remember to include a few spares)
  • Your chosen font style
  • If you have a colour swatch sample that we need to match on the 'Colour Match' range
  • Your delivery address - a signature will be required on delivery

Please include the wording that you would like on each item preferably as a word or email document (please let us know if you can only send handwritten or printed/photocopied details). Please ensure that all names, dates, times and spellings and capitalised words are exactly as you wish them to appear.

Details for items such as orders of service and menus can be sent nearer the time when you have confirmed the details.

Payment

Once we have received your order, we will check the details and generate an order confirmation invoice for you. This will confirm your order and indicate ways to pay. Full payment is required before we can start your order as your order will be a personalised item. We accept most major credit and debit cards and cheques made payable to 'The Doo Ltd'. Please note that if paying by cheque, we will need to wait for the funds to clear before we start your order.

Proofs

All proofs are designed individually and can take up to 10 days to print. Once your proofs are ready, we will post them out to you as soon as possible with an approval and amendment slip. Please check your proofs carefully and return them with the proof slip. If required, we'll repeat the proof process until you are 100% happy with them.

Once we have received both your fully cleared payment and approval, we will send your order to be printed. After your final proofs have been approved, no further amendments can be made.

Printing

Please allow at least 2-4 weeks for your order to be printed. We will then check your order and hand finish any items, before carefully and securely wrapping your items for despatch.

Delivery and Despatch

We use both Couriers and Royal Mail to deliver our orders and all parcels will need to be signed for on delivery. We are happy to send your order to a work or relatives address with your permission and can advise of expected delivery dates if required.

Reprints

We are happy to reprint any part of an order if required. However, we would recommend that you order a few spares to prevent extra costs.

Errors on orders

The Doo Ltd cannot be held responsible for any spelling mistakes or inaccuracies on items once they have been approved by the client on the proofing slip or via email approval.

Terms and Conditions

  • All designs are copyright of The Doo Ltd.
  • As orders are personalised to each individual customer, refunds and exchanges are only made if the order is found to be faulty or does not meet the order specifications. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Full payment is to be made at time of confirming order. This is needed before a proof is made. If a customer who has paid in full decides to cancel their order after receiving a proof but before sign off 50% of the order value will be refunded to the client. It is advised that the client has a free sample before ordering.
  • Proofs are supplied free of charge. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all proofs are correct and accurate. We will send you a proof, which then has to be approved by signature or email by the client and returned to us before printing can begin and the order completed. Before the client makes the final sign off for the order to be printed, additional proofs are also free of charge if amends are needed. The client can also approve their order/proof by email. The Doo will print off a copy of the email approval from the client and keep it for our records. The Doo cannot be held responsible for any mistakes noticed after the proof has been signed off or email confirmation/approval has been given. The client will be charged for any re-printing undertaken after this point.
  • The Doo Ltd only accepts UK Pound Sterling. Payments can be made by card or cheque, however if you would like to pay by cheque, please allow time for the funds to clear before we begin/despatch your order.
  • Delivery and handling is charged at £10.00 for first orders and £7.50 for subsequent deliveries to any address in mainland UK. Whole orders placed at the same time totalling over £400 are delivered to the UK free of charge. Deliveries to EIRE are £25.00 for first orders and £20.00 for subsequent orders. A signature will be required on delivery for security purposes. Please note we do not deliver outside the UK and EIRE.
  • Colours of the designs shown on the website and samples may vary slightly from the colours on the actual product chosen by the client. Colour matched items will be matched as closely as possible, however limitations in the printing process may mean that some colour matches may vary slightly.
